Iolite Necklace

A beautiful necklace featuring 'raw' iolite stones, which are a lovely lilac shade of blue. The stones aren't polished but left in their natural condition, and each stone has been encased in a sterling silver surround. This work is done by hand with a skilled craftsman shaping the silver around the stone. There are ten stones in total, with one hanging below the rest, and then the necklace becomes a substantial sterling silver chain.  The necklace is 20 inches long (about 51 cms) but it can be worn considerably shorter, as the simple lobster clasp will fit into any of the links to shorten it.
